Teenager dies of electrocution in Budgam

Budgam: A teenager died of an electrocution on Sunday evening while repairing electric wire near his home at Gariend Khurd village of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
The deceased has been identified as Danish Yousuf, 17, son of Mohammad Yousuf Bhat.
SHO Budgam, Mohammad Rafi told the INS that the youth was electrocuted when he was repairing electric wire near his house.
He said locals rushed Danish immediately to the nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead by the doctors.
The body has been has handed over to family for last rites while police was investigating the matter, he said.
