Kupwara: A youth from Langate of northern Kashmirs Kupwara district has been hospitalised in Amritsar Punjab after he was spotted unconscious in a bus he has travelling from Dehradun to Amritsar to get a medical Check-up of his eyes.

Reports said that,  Saqib Ahmad, enrolled in a university at Dehradun pursuing Mass Communication and Journalism was travelling towards Amritsar. He was found unconscious in Amritsar after all the passengers came down the bus

A neighbor of the victim also in Amritsar said that: I received a phone call from the family members of said student that their son while travelling from Dehradun to Amritsar has met with a mishap there and need immediate attention.

“I found him in unconscious state,” Gh Hassan neighbor of Saqib,  who’s looking after him there in Amritsar said.

“He’s undergoing treatment at a clinic here in Amritsar, But hasn’t been able to communicate properly,” he said.

Ghulam Hassan quoted Saqib of having said that : “I was travelling by bus towards Amritsar upon reaching Pathankot some youth got friendly with me and offered me a chocolate. I remember of eating that and nothing after that”.

According to Ghulam Hassan, Saqib has lost all the money and other important stuff he had along him.
