Protests in Pulwama after Friday prayers against civilian killings

Pulwama: A protest demonstration was held in the premises of Jamia Masjid Pulwama after friday prayers against the recent civilian killings that shook the valley.

Reports reaching to INS said that after prayers people assembled holding placards reading ‘stop innocent killings’ and ‘stop human rights violations’.

Joint cordination commitee Pulwama earlier asked to protest on Friday to press administration for a probe in the killings.

Meanwhile a complete shutdown was observed on 7th straight day in town to mourn the killings

All shops and business establishments were closed while public transport was off the roads.

Internet services remains suspended.
