Pulwama: Complete shutdown is being observed in Pulwama against recent, what former CM Omar Abdullah called ‘a massacre’, in which seven civilians were killed in forces action after they killed three militants in the gunfight in Sirnoo area last week.

All shops business establishments were closed while public transport was off the roads.

Valley wide shutdown was observed for three days since Dec 15, when the killings took place, and JRL called Badamibagh Cantonment chalo was foiled by authorities by detaining pro freedom leaders.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik were arrested while trying to lead marches towards army base in Srinagar.
