People offer funeral prayers in absentia for Pulwama slain

Srinagar: People at Srinagar’s historic Jamia Masjid on Tuesday offered funeral prayers in absentia for the seven civilians and three militants, one of them an army deserter, killed in Pulwama district o south Kashmir on last weekend.
Reports said many people joined the unreal prayers offered in historic Jamia Masjid at Nowhatta here after the afternoon prayers. The call for offering the prayers was made by the Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik.
