Pulwama gunfight: Injured army man succumbs

Srinagar: An army personnel who was injured in a gunfight with the militants in Kharpora village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district Saturday morning has succumbed to injuries.

An army spokesman said that the injured personnel has succumbed.

Three militants were killed in the gunfight that broke out after the forces launched a cordon-and-search-operation in the village.

Government forces also killed six civilians during stone pelting clashes near the gunfight site.
