  PULWAMA: The District Magistrate Pulwama Saturday imposed restrictions under section 144 of Cr PC in the district in view of the apprehension of breach of peace.

  As per an official handout issued here, the restriction shall stand till further orders.

“Bonafide medical and other emergencies, however, shall be exempted from the restrictions,” authorities said.

Eleven persons including seven civilians, three militants and an army man died in Pulwama on Saturday.

While three militants and an army man died in the gunfight, seven civilians died in clashes that erupted near the gunfight site.

Police said in a statement that civilians had come too much close to the place of gunfight.
