BASHARAT RASHID
TRAL : The residents of Nimrah Colony “A”, Nimrah Colony “B” and Madina Colony, in Tral sub division have expressed resentment against power development department (PDD) for failing to restore the damaged transformer in the area from last “25 days”
The locals said that “the area being supplied from 63KVA at Granery in college road got damaged twenty five days back, but is yet to be restored, due to unknown reasons”
They however said that, “after insisting to field employees like inspector, the transformer was taken to workshop but no concrete step was taken to repair it even after the passing of twenty five days”
One of the residents said that the people of area are constantly calling to concerned JE who according to them “never picks the call” to respond them regarding the issue.
“We even called to AEE ,  they are only assuring us from last 20 days but failed to restore it till now,” residents said.
The residents urged higher ups particularly Chief Engineer Kashmir to intervene in this regard to mitigate their problems.
Despite back to back calls, Assistant Executive Engineer, Power Development Department, Tral, Mohd Maqbool Ahanger, didn’t pick up any call from INS.
