4 Policemen killed in Shopian attack identified

Police has identified the four cops killed earlier on Tuesday in the militant attack at a police picket at Zainapora Shopian. Media reports said that Jaish-e-Mohammad outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack.

The deceased have been identified as constable Anees Ahmad of Kulgam, Sgct Abdul Majid of Ganderbal, Constable Mehraj-u-din of Hajin Bandipora and Constable Hameed Ullah (860/SPN) of Anantnag .

A local news gathering agency reported that Jaish-e-Mohammad outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack.
