‘Wall Of Kindness’ reaches Handwara, people throng to donate

Kupwara: ‘Wall Of Kindness’ has reached to northern Kashmirs Handwara town ship where people  are putting their cloths for needy people. 
A group of volunteers from different parts  Handwara have came forward for this initiative and painted a wall in main town with ‘Wall Of Kindness’ written on it. 
Since Sunday scores of people have donating cloths, a volunteer said. 
“The idea is from Turkey, Iran and Paris where people hang their clothes on the roadside for the people in need. We also want the people to hang their clothes, which they want to donate, on the wall,” Syed Masood Ul Haq a member of the volunteer group said.
Another memeber of group Amir Ahad  said they would try to spread this social betterment project to every part of Kashmir.
Volunteers saith that the concept is based on anonymity, so that both the giver and taker  remains anonymous without lessening the dignity of people in need.
After the wall of kindness in Srinagar attracted people from cross section of society volunteers begun the initiative as the bone chilling ‘Chilay-Kalan’ will begin from 21st December of the same month.
