Shaheen while addressing the press conference at party headquarters Rajbagh Srinagar said, “The mainstream political parties of Valley are creating a rumour among the people of J&K just to divert the attention of the people regarding their malpractice and nepotism who had made limitless moveable and immovable properties since independence.”

He added till date no one has made accountable such corrupt leaders for their crimes, malpractice and nepotism who had looted the state exchequer for years together without any accountability and said, “It is Governor S P Malik who has forced them to account by handing cases to Vigilance and Crime Branches to asserting the motive behind their corruption.”

“Spreading of such rumours by the mainstream political parties against the Governor is just to make a blanket over their wrongdoings which are shorty in public domain. They (NC and PDP) have to appear before the people of J&K to disclose their illegal assets which they have made by sucking the blood of innocent people of the state since decades.

He further urged upon the people of the state to ask the mainstream political parties to show their assets then voted them in the upcoming parliament and Assembly elections who had still failed to fulfill the issues and miseries of the people of the state.
