Prof Farooq Khan appointed Rector Leh Campus KU

Srinagar: University of Kashmir (KU) on Tuesday appointed Prof Farooq Ahmad Khan as Rector of the Satellite Campus, Leh.
Prof Khan , a senior faculty, Department of Management Studies has more than 35 years of teaching, research and administrative experience to his credit.
Prof Khan has held very important positions in the University over the years which includes Director, Centre for Career Planning and Counselling (CCPC) and Coordinator NSS. He is recipient of Indra Gandhi NSS award with a citation at Durbar Hall, Rashtrapati Bhawan.
He has published various research articles on various aspects of Entrepreneurship and in other areas of Management and has enormously contributed to the academics and research. His work has been published in various national and international reputed journals.
Prof Khan has authored books on Entrepreneurship Development. He has also participated in various national and international Conferences. The appointment of Prof Khan as Rector Leh Campus has been widely hailed by teaching, non-teaching staff of the university and student community in general.
