Pulwama: A civilian was injured in cross firing between militants and army on Saturday evening at Pulwama district of South Kashmir.
Sources said that patrolling party of army’s 55 RR was attacked by militants at Niloora village of Pulwama following which army retaliated the fire. They said that a civilian identified as Bashir Ahmad Mir was injured in cross firing. He has suffered injuries in leg and has been rushed to hospital, they said. The army cordoned off the area and when last reports came in, the searches were going on.
