JRL calls for shutdown in poll bound areas tomorrow

Srinagar: Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik have asked people to observe a complete protest shutdown in areas going to polls tomorrow under fourth phase of the panchayat electiosn in the state.
The areas were polls are scheduled include Mawer, Qalamabad, Bandipora, Bijhama, Wailoo, Singhpora, Beerwah, Waterhail Pulwama, Aripal, Shopian, Kund, Achabal, Qazigund, Veisu, Shangus, Chittergul areas.
In a statement issued here, the JRL asked People to demonstrate their total rejection and disregard of “this futile exercise by staying away and boycotting it completely. People’s demand: No to all election
Only Right of self determination”.
