Srinagar: Temperature in Leh of Ladakh division of the state plummeted to minus 8 degrees due to a clear night sky.

According to weatherman, the dip in temperature was followed closely by Kargil recording minus 6.8.

In Srinagar it was 1.4, Pahalgam minus 4.8 and minus 5.5 in Gulmarg.

Jammu city recorded 10.8, Katra town 11, Batote 6.9, Bannihal 6.4 and Bhaderwah 2.8 Celsius.(Agencies)
