Srinagar: United Jihad Council (UJC), an amalgam of various militant organizations including Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, on Tuesday blamed Indian “intelligence agencies” of killing Tehreek-e-Hurriyat activist Hafiz-ullah Mir in Anantnag district.
“The aim behind the killing is to terrify the people but time and again people have proven they will never give up their struggle for freedom,” said Sheikh Jameel –Ur-Rehman, the Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen chief and the general secretary of the UJC .
“India is behind war crimes in Kashmir and continues with its policy of vengeance,” he said, according to emailed statement here.
