Judicial remand of Asia Andrabi, Nahida Nasreen, Fahmida sofi extended upto Dec 4

Srinagar: The judicial remand of Asiya Andrabi, DM chairperson along with Nahida Nasreen n Fahmeeda Sofi which ended today has been extended upto 4/12/2028 by Additional District & Session Judge, NIA special court, New Delhi.

However, the court didn’t take the cognizance of the charge sheet filled by NIA on 14/11/2018 on the pretext of not having sufficient time to read the same. The proceedings were held through Vedio Conference.
Earlier in the day, the District & Session Judge, NIA special court, New Delhi transferred the case of Asiya Andrabi and her two associates to another newly designated NIA special Court of Mr Rakesh Sayal, Additional District & Session Judge, Patiala House, New Delhi.
Asiya Andrabi along with two associates have been charge sheeted by NIA under sections 120B, 121, 121A, 124A, 153A, 153B & 505 of the IPC & Sections 13, 17, 18, 38 & 39 of UAPA.
