Kupwara: Army on Tuesday evening claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid by killing two militants along line of control In keran sector of northern Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

An army officer told INS that a group of militants was intercepted by army along the fence and opened fire when asked to surrender.

“Two infiltrators who were trying to sneak into this part of LoC were killed” he said.  The operation was going on in the area, the officer said.
