PDD casual labourer electrocuted, injured in Pulwama village

Pulwama : A causal employee of power development department was electrocuted in Bandzoo village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, officials said.
Shabir Ahmad Sofi son of Ali Mohammad Sofi, a resident of Washbugh Pulwama, was electrocuted while restoring power supply line at Bandzoo, they said.
He was on an electric pole when accidentally he came in contact with a live wire and fell down.
Sofi was shifted to district hospital Pulwama where doctors said he has burn injury in the elbow and head and was referred to SMHS for further treaement.
