Thousands attend funeral of militant, civilian in Shopian

Shopian: Braving biting cold, thousands of people on Sunday participated in funeral procession of a slain Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militant Irfan Ahmad Bhat in Shopian who was killed in gunfight at Khudpora area of Shopian outskirts.
Reports reaching INS that despite snow, thousands of people attended the funeral of slain militant.
Irfan was buried amidst pro-freedom slogans.
Meanwhile thousands of people attended funeral prayers of civilian Shahid Manzoor Mir.
