SDM Gulmarg issues advisory to wear tyre chains between Tangmarg-Gulmarg

Baramulla: Sub District Magistrate Gulmarg has issued an advisory on Saturday for vehicles intending to travel to Gulmarg.

“All Vehicles travelling to Gulmarg from Tangmarg should wear chain kits on tyres. And 4×4 vehicles will not be allowed to  move from Tangmarg to Gulmarg,” SDM Gulmarg Shabir ul hassan said, adding none will be allowed to travel without chain kits.

Upper reaches have been receiving snowfall while plains have been receiving rains in the state leading to dip in temperature.
