10 absentee Agriculture employees suspended in Srinagar

Srinagar: Ten officials working in the office complex of Chief Agriculture Officer Srinagar were on Saturday suspended after being found absent from their duties during a surprise check by Chief Agriculture Officer Srinagar Dr Syed Waseem.
The Officials which were absent include two Officials from Area development officer Vegetables Srinagar, 02 from Mushroom development Officer Srinagar, 01 from District Agriculture Officer extension Srinagar, 03 from Assistant soil conservation officer Srinagar and 01 Official from Apiculture Development officer Srinagar. Dr Waseem said that it has been observed that some officials are habitual late-comers and don’t perform their legitimate duties as per the official timings and public faces a lot of inconvenience due to their callous approach.
Therefore in the interest of public disciplinary action has been taken against absentees and these officials have been placed under suspension with immediate effect, he said.
