Srinagar: A fresh spell of snowfall at Zojilla pass has forced the closure of 434km-long Srinagar-Leh highway on Thursday.
Ganderbal district administration officials informed that Srinagar-Leh highway was closed for traffic as a precautionary measure due to snowfall at Zojilla pass.
They said that the road has been closed till further orders and the movement of traffic will be allowed only after the road is cleared.
