Allama Iqbal Library KU awarded ISO-certification

Srinaga: Allama Iqbal Library (AIL), University of Kashmir (KU) has been awarded with ISO-9001:2015 certification.
The certification has been done for ‘Quality Management System’ of the libraries in compliance with the scope ‘’ Provision of Library Services to address Academic and Research Needs of the Scholar, Students and Teaching Fraternity of University of Kashmir.’’
The Certification has been provided by ISO-Certifying Authority, UAE.
“It is a great achievement for the University and J&K State that Allama Iqbal Library is one of a few University Libraries in India which has been awarded with ISO-9001:2015 certification,” said University Librarian Prof GM Peerzada.
