Srinagar: The Kashmir Meteorological department on Tuesday predicted a spell of light to moderate rains in plains of the valley and snowfall in the higher reaches.

A spokesperson of the MeT said that the wet weather is likely expected during October 31 and November 3. He said that the intensity of the rains and snowfall will be maximum on November 1 and 2.

He said moderate snowfall is expected on 1st and 2nd November on Mughal Road, Zojila, Sinthan Top, North Kashmir, Mountains of Ladakh, Mainly Kargil district.
