Srinagar : Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan on Monday administered oath to newly elected councilors for Srinagar district. The oath ceremony was held at Banquet hall here.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar,  Syed Abid Rashid Shah was also present there.  At least 74 councilors took oath while one was absent.
 “One candidate from Fateh Kadal ward, Aijaz Ahmad Sofi was not present on the occasion while all others took oath today,” officials said.
