Hashmie elected president of traders body Sopore

Sopore: Hashmutullah Hashmie was on Sunday elected as president of the Traders Federation Sopore.
Two candidates were in the contest as Hashmatullah Hashmie polled 1180 votes while the other contestant Haji Mohammad Ashraf Ganie bagged 997 votes.
The total number of votes were 3000 out of which 2189 were cast in favour of the two contests.
Hashmatullah runs a general store in the town. The election was held at Guru Hospital under the supervision of trade election board Sopore.
