Pattan : Government forces on Wednesday afternoon launched a Cordon and search operation in North Kashmir’s Pattan area.
Sources told INS that a joint team of Army’s 29 RR, Special Operation Group of Police and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search operation at Hanjiveera area of Pattan on inputs about the presence of militants movement in the area.
Reports said all the entry and exit points in the area are sealed by forces, while door to door search operation in the area has been conducted.
