Kulgam bloodbath: Protests erupt in SKUAST’s Wadoora campus in Sopore

Sopore: Students at the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Wadoora campus in Sopore protested on Monday against the Kulgam killings on Sunday.

Seven civilians and three militants were killed in Kulgam in an explosion post gunfight in the Laroo village.

Students raised slogans demanding justice and halt at the the ‘unabated killings in valley’.

A complete shutdown is being observed in Valley against sundays ‘mayhem’.

While authorities postponed exams scheduled to be held today, all the bussiness establishments are closed and traffic is off the roads.

The call to observe shutdown was given by Joint resistance leadership comprising of Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, and Yasin Malik.
