Bagh e Mehtab Sgr goes to BJP, Cong wins in Budgam

Srinagar: BJP candidate from Baghe-Mehtab has been declared winner in the vote count that is underway on Saturday.

In Budgam  Congress defeated BJP candidate with 27 votes.
Among all the 72 wards of six municipalities of Budgam the voting took place only in the Budgam’s ward 5 as other wards had no opponent or no candidate itself.

Among all the 109 polled votes 68 votes were polled in favor of Congress Party and 41 votes were polled in favor of BJP candidate.

The congress party candidate Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat has made his victory with 27 votes
