Pregnant Woman killed in cross firing in Shadimarg Pulwama: Police

Srinagar: A woman with six moths pregnancy was killed in “cross firing” between militants and army at Shadimarg in Pulwama district of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday evening.
SSP Pulwama Chandhan Kohli said that militants fired 2 UBGL and followed it by firing on camp of army’s 44 RR.
He said one woman identified as Firdousa wife of Khurshed Ahmad sheikh of Qasba-yar Shadimarg Pulwama received bullet injury in the “cross fire” and was taken to Rajpoora hospital from there she was referred to district hospital Pulwama where she succumbed to injuries. Hospital sources said that the woman was pregnant.
