Two Old City militants Mehraj Bangroo, Mushtaq Waza slain in Fateh Kadal gunfight: Police

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday identified the two militants killed in a gunfight with government forces in Fateh Kadal as Mehraj ud Din Bangroo and Faid Mushtaq Waza.

Talking to reporters after the wreath-laying ceremony of a cop killed in the Fateh Kadal gunfight, J&K police chief said that two militants killed in the gunfight were identified as Mehraj ud Din Bangroo of Fateh Kadal and Faid Mushtaq Waza of Khanyar.

However, although local said that the third person is a civilian, the son of the house owner, Singh said he was also a militant.
