Govt forms 6-member panel for welfare scheme(s) for unorganized workers in J&K

Srinagar: The state government on Wednesday constituted a committee for taking a holistic view over available schemes for un-organized workers and preparing report for launch of welfare scheme(s) for unorganized workers in J&K.
Headed by Administrative Secretary, Finance Department, the six member committee has been asked to formulate comprehensive welfare scheme(s) for unorganized workers by taking a holistic
View/review of various schemes available to workers/labour class through different departments of the State.
The committee, to be serviced by the Labour & Employment Department, has been asked to submit its report/recommendations within a period of three months.
