Kashmir municipal polls: 3 votes polled in 9 booths of Soura till 10 am

Srinagar: In the ongoing last phase of Urban Local Bodies polls, only three votes were polled at nine polling booths in Soura area of Kashmir’s capital city Srinagar.
Officials said that at Ramzana high school Soura, where 9 polling booths have been set up, only three votes have been polled till 10:00 am.
All three votes have been polled at Dawood Colony Nowshera. In other eight booths, not a single vote has been cast till 10:00 am.
Anchar and Soura localities witnessed violent night protests over the conduct of municipal polls. Government forces had to use tear smoke shells to chase away the protesters, witnesses said.
