Militants decamp with rifles of 2 cops guarding house of former SP in Chadoora Budgam

Srinagar: Suspected militants on late Sunday evening decamped with two weapons along with magazines from the residence of a retired police officers in Gopalpora Chadoora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Reports said that the gunmen barged inside the retired Superintendent of Police (SP), Ghulam Mohammad Gurezi at Noorani colony in Gopalpora Chadoora and overpowered the guards of the retired officer and fled away with two carbine rifles and four magazines.
Confirming the incident, a police officer said that police has rushed to the spot to verify the details.
