3 rounds of funeral for Hizb militant Shabir in Samboora Pulwama, colleagues offer gun salute

Pulwama: At least three rounds of funeral prayers were offered by thousands of people to Shabir Ahmad Dar alias Shabir Maliya at his native Sambora village of Pulwama district in south Kashmir.
Shabir was killed in a gunfight with government forces in an encounter in which his associate Showkat Ahmad was critically injured while their third associate Zahoor Ahmad Thokar was managed to give slip to forces at Babgund area of the district.
Sources said at 10 a.m., three times funeral was offered to slain militant in which thousands of men participated.
Reports said that some militants also appeared in the funeral procession and offered gun salute to slain colleague .
