Civic polls: 28.64% votes recorded in Sumbal till 2 pm, 311 votes polled in Anantnag

Srinagar: The percentage of polling till 2 pm in the second phase of urban local bodies polls was recorded 28.64 and 5.18 percent respectively in Sumbal and Watergam areas of northern Kashmir.

In Sumbal, officials said, the male votes were recorded 1203 while female votes recorded stood at 1074 taking the total tally to 2277.

In Watergam officials said that 14 votes were casted till 2 pm. All the votes were polled by male registered voters and no female turned to any of the polling booths.

In Anantnag reports said that 311 votes were polled till 2 pm.
