Baramulla : Students of integrated Masters in Business Administration, 4th semester,  in North Campus of Kashmir University Baramulla on Wednesday staged protest inside campus at Delina here against University authorities over bus fee issue.
“Students boycotted classes against varsity authorities for forcing them to pay two months bus fee for months classes were not conducted,” eye witnesses said.
The students raised slogans against University authorities and said that despite being assured from Vice Chancellor of Kashmir University for not to pay two months bus fee for which they had not attended clases, but still North Campus officials are forcing them to pay two months bus fee,” said a protesting students.
They threatened of boycotting class work if KU officials don’t follow the ‘assurance they were provided by the VC’.
In-charge transport section at North Campus Umar Ahmad told INS, said that out of 12 months students have to pay bus fee for ten months.\
“If students were not able to attend University they should have given us a written statement which University authorities have not recieved from any of students,” Ahmad said.
