Tral shuts against detention of youth, women on roads

Tral: A shutdown is being observed in uptown area of south Kashmir’s Tral sub district today against the detention of two youth by government forces.
All shops and other businesses establishments are closed and a protest rally was also taken out by locals including women.
They  blocked road at Aabagar area, demanding immediate release of both the youth.
The detained youth were identified as Hilal Ahmad Dhobi and Irshad and Malla, who were detained in two different raids.
SSP Awantipora, Mohd Zahid Malik said that one of the detained youth, Irshad Ahmad Malla is “the mastermind of threatening posters to SPOs and political workers in the area.”
Meanwhile, reason behind the detention of another youth Hilal Ahmad, was not immediately known
