KU to participate in All India Championship, cross country run team flagged off by KU VC

Srinagar: Talat Ahmad,Hon,ble Vice Chancellor University of Kashmir flagged off cross country team of university of Kashmir deputed by Directorate of Physical Education and Sports to participate in All India cross country championship at gulbarga university,karnataka.

Prof. Talat Ahmad interacted with contingent comprising of 6 boys and 3 girls of university and various colleges accompanied by Ms Surjeet kour and also encouraged all team members for their participation and wished them success.He assured all possible support to athletes representing different teams of university in forthcoming Inter University Tournaments.

On the occasion Dr. Nisar Ahmad Khan ,coordinator,Physical Education and Sports apprised Vice Chancellor about the tournament and informed that first time cross country team of university is participating in the event.He thanked Vice Chancellor and Registrar of university in facilitating the air travel of the team,the first of its kind in the Sports of university. Mr. Nadeem Ahmad Dar( Assistant Director),Towseef Ahmad (Assistant Director), Mr. Harbinder Singh(Hockey coach),Dr.Inam (physiotherapist)were also present.
