Police pays tributes to cop Killed in militant attack on police station Shopian

Srinagar: Police offered tributes to a policeman Saqib Mir who was killed on Sunday morning in a militant attack in shopian district of south Kashmir.

A wreath-laying ceremony was held at District Police Lines Shopian and it was led by DIG south Kashmir Amit Kumar

Besides SSP Shopian, Commanding Officer of 14th battalion CRPF and other officers, policemen and officicers from civil administration were present at the wreath laying ceremony.

Earlier militants on wee hours attacked police station Shopian and killed the cop, Saqib Mir, and snatched his rifle.
