Soura shuts, demands release of arrested Anchar youth

Srinagar:  Spontaneous shutdown is being observed in Soura area of Srinagar over detention of a youth from Anchar area.

Soura market remains closed while traffic on Soura-Bachpora road has been stopped.

A youth identified as Ishfaq Ahmad s.o Ghulam Ahmad r.o wani mohalla anchar was arrested by police on Tuesday.

The locals are demanding immediate release of the youth.

A police official said that the 22 yr old youth is  a stone pelter.
