Engineer suspended for indulging in political activities

Kishtwar:  District Election Officer Angrez Singh Rana today suspended a Junior Engineer for indulging in political activities.

As per district administration, the Junior Engineer in  R&B department Div Kishtwar Raj Kumar Badyal was suspended after a video of him delivering political speech was circulated in social media groups.

The erring Jr Engineer was placed under suspension with immediate effect and attached to the office of Chief Engineer R&B Jammu.

Meanwhile, Imam Din Additional District Development Commissioner has been appointed as inquiry Officer in the matter and asked to conduct discreet enquiry regarding the misconduct shown by erring JE. Further, Chief Engineer R&B has also been asked to keep close watch over the day today activities of the said JE.
