Srinagar: The state government on Tuesday accorded sanction to the re-constitution of a High
Level Committee to address all the issues relating to establishment/setting up of the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences at Awantipora (Pulwama) and Vijaypur (Samba) besides five (05) new Medical
Colleges in the State.
Headed by administrative secretary, the 14-member committee has been tasked to address all the issues relating to establishment of All India Institutes of Medical Sciences at Awantipora (Pulwama) and Vijaypur (Samba) and address the issues relating to setting up of five new Medical Colleges in the State. “The committee shall be serviced by the Health & Medical Education Department,” reads an order added.
