Srinagar: Athorities on Monday opened Jammu-Srinagar highway for vehicular traffic after it was closed for a day following landslides at various locations along route.

Officials said  that on Sunday night the road was cleared of blockages.

“Only light motor vehicles were allowed to move, ” an official said.

Massive landslides between Ramban and Udhampur districts had blocked the road Sunday morning.
