Ganderbal:  Militants Sunday late evening opened fire on Police naka party is Gadoora area of Ganderbal district and escaped from the spot.

Police had established a  naka at Gadoora area of Ganderbal district on late Sunday evening after inputs of militant movement.

SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal said that militants travelling in a Sumo vechicle came from Soura side towards Ganderbal. “Militants opened fire on a SOG naka party from a distance at Gadoora Bridge and ran away from the spot,” Poswal said.

He said no one was injured in the incident.
