Anantnag: Believe it or not!  A spring in Anantnag gushes when called by children and water returns back when they cry for same.

The mysterious spring is located in the Halsidar Kapran area, about 40 kms, from main town Anantnag district.

As kids shout “Khas Khas Nagav” (gush oh spring), the water begins to come out of the spot decorated by a stone wall around.

“When children ‘wass Wass Nagav” (Go back Spring), the water begins to recede,” Locals said.

The area is popularly known as “Sath Resh”  meaning seven saints.

The roads leading to the area is dilapidated and residents have ‘so many times appealed higher ups to intervene and provide them with better road connectivity,”they said.
