Srinagar:  Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee will be participating in the upcoming Urban Local Body,  Municipal polls in the state.

 

President JKPCC,  G.A. Mir told a presser here that the party has decided to participate in the fray.

Earlier Mir had said that the situation in valley is not conducive for conduct of polls.

National Conference,  People’s Democratic Party and Communist Party of India,  Marxist,  have decided to boycott the polls citing turbulent security situation and ‘attempts to abrogatebarticle 35A’ as reasons.
