Anantnag: A motorcyclist was killed on the spot while his pillion rider was injured when a speeding truck hit a motorcycle at Sandu Nowgam area in this south Kashmir district on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Zahoor Ahmad son Mushtaq Ahmad of and injured as Saqlain, bothe residents of Sandu Anantnag, officials said.

Body of Zahoor has been hand over to his family for last rites while injured has been referred to Anantnag hospital for treatment, they added.
