No Election only Self-Determination: Mirwaiz at Jamia

Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (M) chairperson Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Friday rejected the election process in Jammu and Kashmir and said that the people of Kashmir are striving for the right to self-determination
“The people of Kashmir reject all the elections be those for roads, drains, panchayat, municipal, parliament, or the so-called assembly,” the Mirwaiz said after addressing the faithful at historic Jamia Masjid in Srinagar.
He said that “ours is one slogan that No Election only Self-Determination”.
Mirwaiz said that the resistance leadership will run the campaign at all platforms against the elections and tell the world that Kashmiris only demand Right to Self-Determination.
